Majestic Creek

Majestic Creek CC is a short drive west of Hua Hin and one of the newest courses to open in the area. This water strewn, 27-hole course was opened in 1993 and built on 1,000 rai (454 acres). Distinguished by its length and diversity, it can be played with two different back nines (either 6,957 or 6,844 yards). Water on 19 holes and rolling fairways placed against a backdrop of majestic mountains (they form the border with Myanmar) add to the visual splendor.

Royal Hua Hin

The Royal Hua Hin Golf Club is the oldest golf course in Thailand. Carved over 240 acres of natural terrain – in an era when bulldozers did not exist and men and mules sculpted the landscape – the course is a royal delight of natural and mature landscaping. Construction began in 1919 during the reign of King Rama VI and was completed in 1924 under his majesty King Rama VII.

The club was owned by the Royal Thai Railway Corporation before the Boon Rawd Brewery assumed the management of the course and the contiguous 12-room Golf Inn Hotel in the early 2000s. In the past, significant tournaments have been held at this 6,678-yard course, including the King’s Cup, the Queen’s Cup and The Open Amateur Cup.

Location:        5 minutes from downtown Hua Hin

Recreational: “It’s a national treasure, it’s accessible and affordable.” “What’s the word: venerable?” “I expected an ancient dog track and found a thoroughbred track.” “Wonderful experience. That 14th par-3 is so Thailand.”

Professional: “This course is a pleasure to walk and play and experience.” “With the new management and better superintendence, this becomes a superb outing.”
