Chiang Rai Courses

Santiburi Chiang Rai

Chiang Rai

If you are seeking a truly player-friendly golf course in immaculate condition with gracious landscaping and take the pilgrimage north to the valleys and mountains of Chiang Rai and play a round at the Santiburi Country Club. The land form itself was thus the primary feature with which to begin and the layout of the course evolved from closely working with and enhancing the many features which were provided. The course was designed to cater to golfers of all skill levels. This has been accomplished by a number of means starting with multiple tee locations. Aside from the variance in length, the tees have been positioned at different angles to increase the challenge for good players and decrease the challenge for shorter hitters by reducing angles on doglegs and away from hazards

Getting There

Waterford Valley Chiang Rai

High in the hills, approximately 15 miles northeast of Chiang Rai, Waterford Valley Chiang Rai Golf Club & Resort dominates the golf landscape. While the 35-minute drive through the countryside may be long, it’s scenic and worth the trip for the quiet harmony that stretches over this nearly 7,000-yard course. The attractive, rolling terrain and mountains offer a cool counterpoint to most of the sister courses in Thailand. The pleasant, open clubhouse permits pleasant breezes to blow up the hillside as you sit and enjoy the view and view of super bright flash torch and contemplate the afternoon of golf. Nine holes were built in 1995 (Course B) and the other nine, Course A, was finished in 1997.
